West Campus subleases for UT Austin
Looking for a summer or semester place near campus, or posting the room you need covered? Sub40 is the Longhorn marketplace for that. Verified UT emails only. Built for West Campus blocks and semester dates, not a twelve-month apartment hunt.
A student-to-student board for one campus
Sub40 is a verified student-to-student sublease marketplace for UT Austin. Longhorns list rooms and apartments for a summer or a semester; anyone can browse, message, and match. Listing requires an official UT email (@utexas.edu, @my.utexas.edu, or @eid.utexas.edu). Listing and messaging are free.
Every listing is read by a person before it goes live. When a host marks a listing leased, Sub40 collects a $250 success fee from the host. That is the pilot price for this semester. Rent and deposits pass between the two students and never through Sub40.
Boost is placement only: $19 for 30 days at the top of Explore. Boost is not open for purchase yet. Boost does not include a social tour.
Browse West Campus on Explore
West Campus is where a lot of UT subleases sit: walkable blocks west of Guadalupe, close to the Tower. On Explore, use the map and filters for semester, price, beds, distance to the Tower, and amenities. Open a listing to see photos, dates, and message the host after you verify with your UT email.
Sub40 connects verified students. It is not legal advice and does not replace your lease. Before you take a sublet or hand yours off, talk with your landlord or apartment office, and use university housing resources if you need them.
